EngravArri | Terms of Service & Custom Commission Agreement

                                                                                                                     
 
​This document governs all purchases from EngravArri. By placing an order for our bespoke engraving services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
 
​1. Customization & The Approval Mandate
 
​Because we specialize in permanent, bespoke items, accuracy is a collaborative effort.
 

  • ​Text-Only Orders: For items personalized with standard text provided at checkout (names, dates, custom messages) we engrave exactly as submitted. No digital proof is provided to ensure maximum production speed. Please verify all spelling and capitalization before submitting.

  • ​Logos & Custom Graphics: All orders involving uploaded artwork, corporate logos, or complex layouts require a digital proof.

  • ​The "Final Word": Customer approval of a proof is a binding authorization. EngravArri is not responsible for errors (spelling, dates, grammar, or layout) that were present in the approved proof or provided by the client.

  • ​Material Variance: Wood, leather, stone, and glass are natural or artisanal materials. You acknowledge that grain patterns, knots, color depth, and engraving textures may vary. These unique characteristics are the hallmark of a bespoke gift and are not considered defects.
     

​2. Corporate & Bulk Orders
 

  • ​Logo Requirements: Corporate logos must be provided in high-resolution vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF). We are not responsible for the engraving quality resulting from low-resolution "raster" files (JPEG/PNG).

  • ​Project Deposits: For orders exceeding $1,000, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your production slot and materials. The remaining balance is due prior to shipping.

  • ​Tiered Lead Times: Production begins once Full Payment (or Deposit) and Written Proof Approval are received.

    • ​Keepsakes (1–9 units): 5–7 business days.

    • ​Small Batch (10–49 units): 2–3 weeks.

    • ​Corporate Bulk (50–499 units): 4–6 weeks.

    • ​Enterprise (500+ units): 6–8+ weeks.
       

​3. Production, Rush Fees & "Event Dates"
 
​We understand that special occasions (weddings, corporate launches) are time-sensitive.

  • ​The "6-Week Rule": To ensure quality and allow for shipping buffers, we strongly recommend corporate and special occasion clients initiate orders at least 6 weeks prior to their required event date.

  • ​Rush Fees: Requests for production faster than our standard window are subject to availability and will incur a Service Fee:

    • ​Expedited (3–5 Days): +25% (Min. $25 for single items)

    • ​Rush (1–2 Days): +50% (Min. $75 for single items)

    • VIP (Same/Next Day): +100% (Min. $150 flat fee)
       

  • ​Note: Service fees cover production priority and our signature premium gift packaging. They do not upgrade your shipping carrier speed.
     

​4. Shipping & Liability
 

  • ​Hard Deadlines: Firm event dates must be disclosed at the time of the order.

  • ​Carrier Liability: Our responsibility ends when the package is scanned by the carrier (UPS/FedEx/USPS). EngravArri is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses.

  • ​Free Shipping: Where applicable, free shipping applies to Standard Ground transit only. It does not apply to Expedited/Rush/VIP orders or Enterprise freight.

  • ​International Orders: Clients are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, or import fees. (This service is not yet available)
     

​5. Returns & Cancellations
 

  • ​Final Sale: All personalized, bespoke, or corporate-branded items are Final Sale. We cannot accept returns unless the item is structurally defective or the engraving differs from the approved proof.

  • ​Cancellations: Orders can only be canceled within 6 hours of placement, provided production or proofing design has not yet begun. 
    Please Note: VIP /Rush orders are ineligible for cancellation once placed.

  • Damages & Defective Items: If an item arrives damaged or structurally compromised, notify us at returns@engravarri.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the item and original packaging.​

  • Return Logistics: Items approved for return must be dispatched to our studio within 7 business days of return authorization. The client is responsible for all return shipping fees and associated transit costs. We strictly recommend using a tracked and insured carrier, as EngravArri is not liable for items lost or further damaged during return transit. The formal return or replacement process will commence only upon our physical receipt and quality inspection of the returned goods.
     

​6. Client-Provided Items (This service is not yet available)
 
​If you provide your own items for engraving (e.g., specific spirits or family heirlooms):
 

  • ​Risk & Liability: While we take the utmost care, machine or software malfunctions can occur. EngravArri’s liability for damage to client-provided items is limited to the cost of the engraving service, not the replacement value of the item itself.
     

​7. Intellectual Property & Brand Usage
 

  • ​Right to Reproduce: By submitting a logo or artwork, the client warrants they own the legal rights to that imagery. You agree to indemnify EngravArri against any trademark infringement claims.
     

  • ​Portfolio Rights: EngravArri reserves the right to photograph and share completed items for marketing and social media purposes unless a "Surprise Launch" or NDA is requested in writing prior to production.
